We source this blank shirt from a company called Allmade, and then we screen-print our design onto it in our Spencer, IA, studio. We LOVE the mission of Allmade tees. Their tri-blend tees are a unique and proprietary blend built from 50% Repreve® polyester from recycled plastic; 25% organic, US grown, combed, ring spun cotton; and 25% TENCEL™ Modal. These sustainable fibers combine to create a soft, flexible, and smooth fabric. Each shirt uses 6 recycled poly water bottles and all fabric is spun, knitted, processed and finished in the USA. They are also cut and sewn in Haiti where the makers of the tees are paid 3-4x the average daily wages there. By paying their workers a living wage, parents are able to keep their families together which results in fewer children becoming orphans.
About Pressed Apparel:
Each of our apparel items are designed and hand-pressed (screenprinted) in-house. We source only USA-made and ethically-made shirts for our designs. Each one is meticulously handcrafted from beginning to end.
We like to think this will be your new favorite shirt, not only because of its message, but because of the design and fit elements as well. Because of the unique blend of fabrics used, each one is exceptionally soft and drapes well on the body, giving you comfort and a fantastic fit.
